Students arriving late to school and/or class for any reason are denying themselves a valuable educational experience.  Please assist us by getting your students to school by 8:55 a.m.

SCHOOL SAFETY

Faculty, staff, administration, and students work together in a joint effort to provide a safe learning environment for all persons on the Parkway Middle Community School campus.  The Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ Code of Student Conduct is reviewed with and explained to students during orientation programs. Students have the responsibility of proper behavior and manners while in school.  We also request that they share with any faculty member any information or rumor they may have heard regarding any type of threat to the safety of our students and staff.

Parents have the responsibility of notifying the school of any problem that may affect our students’ safety while they are at school. The school attempts to provide safety through the visibility of its school security monitors, school board police, faculty, staff, and administration on campus.  These persons are there to assist and to supervise all our students at all functions both on and off campus.
